Lissangle Quilos Diamond Takes Top Spot

In a very strong Working Hunter Class, Rose Ahern O’Gorman’s Lissangle Quilos Diamond stormed to victory, with Judge Nigel Hollings remarking, “That is just one heck of a combination. [The photo] is so full of energy and straight ability, athleticism, a very nice horse. Look at the front legs; look at the back [legs]! It’s just complete isn’t it? You couldn’t have picked a better moment for a working hunter doing its job.”

Amongst the 281 entries put forward for the class were images showing horses across country and over solid fences, as well as the more usual rustic rails. “I was determined we should have some photographs from out on the hunting field,” says Nigel, who placed two hunting images from Helen Baker and David Wallace among the finalists.

In second and third place, Team Armstrong Small’s Carlingsford King (ridden by Justine Armstrong Small) and Jenny Keepe’s Alvescot World Wise put up stiff competition for the winner.
